Join one of our sampling events hosted by accredited AUSMAP Trainers.

We'll introduce the AUSMAP protocols and demonstrate the sample methodology.

Using the AUSMAP kit and national methodology, we will demonstrate how to collect microplastic samples on your beach or waterway.

Microplastic quantities, types and colours will then be classified and documented. 

Microplastic samples are then sent to our university partners for further analysis and will be integrated into our database.

This data will be used to map hotspots around Australia, and chemical contaminants of microplastics.
